AZCO INC.'s scope of work includes the erection of 2200 tons of plate steel and boxed ductwork as well as the insulation and lagging on the project. Also included in the scope for the 475MW plant will be 1000 tons of ductwork support steel and miscellaneous steel erection on Units 1 and 2.

Description:
AZCO was contracted for the erection of all manufacturer supplied equipment including a 420 MW Mitsubishi Steam Turbine/Generator. The list of equipment includes, but is not limited to, feedwater pumps, fire protection skids, miscellaneous pumps, propane storage, ammonia storage, fire protection skids, potable water and water treatment. The scope for these items consists of setting, alignment and the installation of the piping supplied by each manufacturer.

Description:
AZCO’s initial scope included demolition and installation of the ash handling system, dryers and receivers for Units 1 & 2.
AZCO’s scope was expanded to include procurement, fabrication and installation of new pipe rack, site upgrades including new installation of utility piping, upgrades to existing utility piping, platform installation, structural steel upgrades to existing buildings, blower and air compressor installations.
Water service and treatment pump connections include vertical pump installation and setting of four raw water pumps, three treated water pumps, three ash pond pumps, one de-mineralized water pump and two skids with booster pumps.
