AZCO is the general contractor for all three projects responsible for installation of Fuel Tech supplied equipment. AZCO is self-performing all piping, iron work, boiler work and rigging at all three locations.

Description:
AZCO INC. has been contracted for the erection
of two Nooter Erickson HRSG’s including the
erection, piping and insulation of the stack. AZCO
will be installing the high pressure steam drum,
low pressure steam drum, deaerator and instrumentation for the HRSG’s.
AZCO is also providing supervision, labor and equipment for the erection of the Generation Building. The enclosed building will house the two CTG’s, two HRSG’s and associated equipment. The constructed building includes 1600 tons of structural steel. Included in the scope are the galleries, acoustical siding, roof decking, built up rubber roofing, elevated concrete floors and erection of a 65 ton bridge crane supplied by the owner.

Description:
AZCO’s initial scope included demolition and installation of the ash handling system, dryers and receivers for Units 1 & 2.
AZCO’s scope was expanded to include procurement, fabrication and installation of new pipe rack, site upgrades including new installation of utility piping, upgrades to existing utility piping, platform installation, structural steel upgrades to existing buildings, blower and air compressor installations.
Water service and treatment pump connections include vertical pump installation and setting of four raw water pumps, three treated water pumps, three ash pond pumps, one de-mineralized water pump and two skids with booster pumps.
