Project: Boiler installation, structural steel, and material handling equipment

Scope: The University of Missouri replaced one of the university's five coal-burning boilers with one that burns wood-based biomass. AZCO's scope included boiler erection, all structural steel erection and material handling equipment installation to allow the plant to fuel the new boiler with sawmill residues, urban wood waste, harvest residue and dedicated energy crops resulting in 100,000 tons annually of clean, sustainable biomass fuel used to supply energy to the University.
