Project: Carbon steel, chrome-moly, and stainless steel pipe spool fabriction for 3 different subcontractors for a single project
Scope: AZCO is providing pipe fabrication for the Cove Point LNG Liquefaction Expansion Project in Lusby, Maryland for three different subcontractors. Included is shop-fabricated lube oil, control oil, gland steam, spray water and drain piping for the turbines; carbon steel, chrome-moly and stainless steel pipe spool fabrication for the two (2) HRSGs and ammonia injection systems; and shop fabrication of various piping systems related to the power block area of the project.
When completed in 2017, Cove Point will produce approximately 5.25 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas annually and supply critical American allies in India and Japan with much-needed fuel that will help reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
