Project: Complete installation of boiler furnace assemblies, ductowrk and associated piping for conversion to biomass
Scope: AZCO provided services for the conversion of two existing coal-fired boilers to biomass. The scope for the 53MW plant included the complete erection and installation of Detroit Stoker Hydrogrates with windswept spouts, complete boiler lower furnace assemblies, generating bank assemblies, economizers, air heaters, distribution air fans, de-NOx systems, bottom ash drag systems, ductwork, associated piping, insulation, refractory and structural steel modifications.
