Quality Control (QC) Supervisor, Field
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for implementing the quality assurance program at our project sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following –
• Manage AZCO’s QA program for a specific site.

• Communicate with the customer’s site QC personnel, relate specification or contract criteria to AZCO’s 
   site superintendent and project manager and be able to assure that these issues are met.

• Responsible for creating weld travelers and assuring inspections have been completed.

• Assist in scheduling NDE and PWHT.

• Keep records current for audit purposes.

• Correspond with the jurisdiction inspectors or Authorized Inspector when necessary.

• Manage and direct additional personnel and assure inspections are completed in a timely manner.

• Assist the project coordinator in preparing turn-over packages for customer submittal.

Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year college or university desired; a minimum of three years related experience and/or training.

AWS CWI certification required.

Safety Coordinator
The Safety Coordinator facilitates compliance with company and project safety policies and procedures on a daily basis on jobsites, initiates corrective actions through the field construction staff and educates team members when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Participation in pre-job and pre-task safety planning, development of site specific safety policies and procedures.

• Coordination with local responders and medical facilities

• Jobsite customer safety liaison.

• Train employees on safety and health requirements to ensure understanding and compliance with 
   regulations and company policy.

• Planning and overseeing field activities, providing support to eliminate health and safety violations including
   monitoring subcontractors to insure a safe working environment for all AZCO INC. employees on site.

• Insure availability of and appropriate use of all safety equipment

• Conduct daily walk-through and coordinate with site supervisor to effectively carry out the site specific safety plan.

• Obtain permits and monitor hot work, confined space entries, lockout/tag out and excavation

• Investigate incidents, prepare appropriate report and assist management in implementation of Return to Work policy.

• Identify potential causes for incidents and recommend changes in policies and procedures to prevent 
   accidents and illness.

• Assist in policy and procedure development and determination of department goals and objectives, work 
   with Safety Director to determine best means of implementation and provide feedback

• Willingly and aggressively strive to further site safety through combined effort with craft supervisor and labor.

Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year college or university, a minimum of one year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience. (Safety and/or Construction Management Majors preferred). Familiarity with Zero Injury Techniques of Construction Industry Institute also desired.

Quality Control Inspector, Field
Summary – Responsible for completing inspections and tests under the direction of the jobsite Quality Control Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Document inspections daily.
• Effectively communicate with foreman and superintendent to assure specifications and code inspections are met.
• Understand and interpret ASME and AWS codes, specifications and customer requirements. Understand addenda and interpretation of jurisdictional law and regulations.
• Verify compliance with quality assurance procedures, codes and customer specifications. Verify material marking requirements. Understand material contamination issues for stainless steel materials.
• Review radiographs for required sensitivity, complete identification and interpret results with occasional assistance from Level III. Schedule Radiography and PWHT if necessary.
• Assure welding procedures and filler metal specifications are met.
• Appropriately train and supervise staff quality control functions, documentation of quality control activities and reporting for clients.
• Verify welding personnel are working within their range of qualifications.
• Perform calculations and write reports from quality findings.
• Schedule authorized inspector (AI) for required inspections and complete sign-off of weld travelers.

Qualifications – A minimum of three years experience and/or training; or at least five years combination of education and experience required.

AWS CWI certification required.
