Appleton, WI (December 2014) – AZCO INC., one of the Midwest’s most trusted names in industrial construction and fabrication, is pleased to announce they have added 12,000 square feet of additional space to their current facility to provide for a new heat treat furnace, additional welding stations, and increased production capacity at their local fabrication shop.
By adding on to their existing location, AZCO INC. can work with UA Local 400 to hire an expanded workforce for an increased demand in production.
The expansion allows AZCO INC. to self-perform complete heat treating services for pipe and welds, with temperatures up to 1450 degrees Fahrenheit. Working with carbon steel and chrome moly, the processes will be in full compliance with ASME Section I and Section VIII, as well as AWS D1.1.
AZCO INC. started in 1949 as a mechanical contractor in the Fox Valley initially serving the pulp and paper industry the region is known for.
Today, AZCO INC.’s 90,000 square feet of fabrication shop space provide carbon and stainless piping of all sizes to projects across the United States as well as Canada working with large national and international companies such as Cargill, Phillips 66 and Kiewit Power Constructors, to name a few.
AZCO INC. is an ESOP company employing over 150 individuals locally, and working with approximately 540 union craftsmen nationally.
